Lavender's Cat Rescue

Lavender's Cat Rescue is an outreach ministry of Bluffton Church Ministries, a ministry of God's Open Book Ministries.

Lavender's Cat Rescue works to help abandoned, displaced and homeless cats by connecting them with rescue resources, temporary care, foster homes and permanent adoptive families.

The rescue operates in Oregon under the direction of Lavender Obluda, with the support and oversight of Bluffton Church Ministries. Although separated by many miles, we share one simple belief: caring for those who cannot care for themselves is an expression of compassion in action.

Current Ministry Project — Rescue Facility

Bluffton Church Ministries has authorized Lavender's Cat Rescue to seek community and corporate support for a dedicated portable rescue facility at its Oregon operating location. The facility will provide space for cat intake, temporary care and recovery, food and medical supplies, rescue equipment and preparation for adoption.

Lavender is authorized to contact businesses, organizations and individuals on behalf of this ministry project.

Donations intended for this project are received and administered through Bluffton Church Ministries for the charitable purposes of Lavender's Cat Rescue. The rescue facility itself will be ministry property dedicated to charitable rescue use.
